He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and the British Chiropractic Sports Council.
Back and neck pain is the second most common reason for
absence from work.
Long term absence - which is mainly due to back pain and other musculoskeletal disorders and stress, anxiety and depression is still a big problem and accounts for 40% of lost working time.
Dr Bateman runs his practice from the Zen Clinic, Tollgate, Colchester. He treats patients right across the age range from four week old babies to octogenarian grandparents with joint problems caused by different factors.
